Voice and Data Communications Technician
Under minimal supervision, the Voice and Data Communications Technician performs a variety of complex telecommunications and data network installations and service calls.
Coordinates, schedules and performs all work required to make adds, moves, and changes including cable installation.
Considerable judgment and initiative will be required to identify problems and solutions. Designs and installs wire management systems as required. May provide work leadership and guidance to less senior personnel.
Requires two years of technical trade school or equivalent and at least 7 years of directly related experience. Must possess a thorough understanding of PBX equipment, both digital and analog. Thorough knowledge of PBX repair and recovery procedures required. Must have demonstrated knowledge of wide-area and local area networks, as well as a comprehensive ability to troubleshoot all telecommunications equipment and systems problems. U.S. Citizenship, Permanent Residency or other status as a U.S. Person required.

Low Voltage Wire Installation Technician
Under minimal supervision, the Low Voltage Wire Installation Technician performs a variety of complex low voltage wire installations and service calls.
Coordinates, schedules and performs all work required to make adds, moves, and changes including cable installation.
Considerable judgment and initiative will be required to identify problems and solutions. Designs and installs wire management systems as required. May provide work leadership and guidance to less senior personnel.
All Necessary hand tools to pull/terminate/dress/test/label
At least 2-3 yrs. of experience in the Telecommunications field
Ability to terminate a 25 pair cable onto a 110 Block
Ability to terminate RG6, Audio, Cat 5, Cat 5e and Cat 6 jacks
Ability to terminate a Patch Panel
Ability to receive and apply direction from a Foreman/PM
